Olor a Canela
Renata struggles with math; she doesn't understand numbers because she only likes the ones that tell stories. Amalia, her grandmother, was a safe haven for hugs, adventures, and dreams of the impossible. A story as intimate as it is universal. A work that began with a game between Piero and Apa, and becomes reality to be a part of each of you. My grandmother knitted the warmest socks I ever had, and she baked the most delicious muffins. And yours?
Renata and her grandmother Amalia invite you to explore a world of adventures, weaving, characters, and magic that only exist in grandmothers' homes. A show that blends theater, music, and circus to celebrate the cycle of life in all its forms, combining reality, fantasy, and dreams.
This show is produced by the IM's Arts Strengthening Program
